| NATURE PROGRAMS FOR KIDS WTI is proud to host the Lee Kirchhevel's Junior Naturalist series of classes, providing children opportunities to connect with nature by participating in hands-on outdoor activities. Experiences in nature encourage children to become aware of and appreciate the wonder and beauty of the natural world. Learning to be attentive in nature through fun sensory awareness activities can also enhance study skills (i.e., attention to detail, focus, analysis, importance of silence) and promote community awareness (i.e., cooperation, interdependence, acceptance, wise use of resources).
